DENTAL CARE

You do not have to pay for dental treatments if any one of the following applies.

You are:

• Under 18 years of age

• 18 years old and in full time education

• Expecting a baby

• Have had a baby in the last 12 months

You or your partner receives:

• Income support

• Income-based job seekers allowance

• Working family tax credit

• Pension credit guarantee

• You hold a current HC2 charges certificate

Please call the surgery to arrange an appointment.

Dental emergencies are:

• BLEEDING

• SWELLING

• SEVERE PAIN

Registered patients - call the practice first thing in the morning and we have reserved times for emergency treatment. You will be offered an appointment for within 24 hours (usually the same day). If you call later in the day it is less likely that we will be able to see you on the same day.

Unregistered patients - call the practice and you have 2 choices

• We shall see you at the first available opportunity. This may be a few days and there is no extra charge for this service - you only pay for the treatment you have done.

• We shall give you one of our same day emergency appointments but there is a £30 charge for this for any unregistered patient.
